Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the average cost for pc
repair?
A: Approximately 80% of our jobs are completed within 1 hour, so the
cost is typically only $50 for a drop off and $75 for an on site.
Q: What is the turnaround time on drop
off repairs?
A: For most software repairs, you can expect the system to be ready
to be picked up within 24 hours of the time it was dropped off.
Hardware repair may require parts and could take additional time.
We do stock the most common replaceable parts such as power supplies
and hard drives.
Q: What is the turnaround time on
crashed hard drives?
A: If you mail in a hard drive, we will begin working on it as soon
as it arrives. We will be able to tell within an hour of
receiving it if we can recover the data.
Q: Can you wire up my house/office for
CAT5?
A: Of course! There are plenty of situations where a wireless
network just won't cut it and the only option is CAT5E cabling.
We can fish the wires as well as install the patch panels and
switches for a professional installation.
Q: What type of computers can I bring in
for recycling?
A: We use the recycled systems to put together loaner and
refurbished computers. If the system is too old for parts,
then we can't use it. Please be sure to call or email ahead
before bringing the system in to be certain that we can accept it.
Generally, if the system is more than 5 or 6 years old, it cannot be
salvaged.
